The Fire Adapted Communities Coalition is a group of partners committed to helping people and communities in the wildland urban interface adapt to living with wildfire and reduce their risk for damage, without compromising firefighter or civilian safety.
Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network
The Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network encourages the development and sharing of best practices and innovations in order to accelerate the adoption of fire adapted community concepts nationwide. The Network is managed by the Watershed Research and Training Center and The Nature Conservancy.
The Watershed Research and Training Center
The Watershed Research and Training Center (WRTC) is a community-based non-profit organization in far northern California. The WRTC’s mission is to promote a healthy forest and a healthy community through research, training and education.

USDA/USFS Northern Research Station
The Northern Research Station, which combines the USDA Forest Service’s former Northeastern and North Central Research Stations, provides leading-edge forest science and technology applications to serve a wide range of clients in the 20-state region of the Northeast and Midwest.
