Emily is a Research Assistant working with Bruce Goldstein at the University of Colorado. She is also the Program Assistant for the Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network. Emily received a B.S. in Environmental Conservation from University of New Hampshire (UNH), and an M.S. from the TIDES program at UNH in Integrated Coastal Ecosystem Science, Policy and Management. Her degree specialized in human dimensions in natural resources management. She has spent the last year working as the Research and Science Translation Assistant for the National Estuarine Research Reserve System Science Collaborative and as the Program Manager for a local environmental non-profit. Emily spends most of her free time rock climbing and writing about rock climbing. She is also the volunteer blogger for the Colorado Ocean Coalition.
